According to an official post on Ubisoft’s website, Rainbow Six Siege has managed to garner more than 25 million players, and in a bid to expand that user base even further, a limited time Free Play Weekend will occur next week on February 15, 2018 across the title’s PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One platforms. Should one choose to purchase a copy of the the tactical shooter after or during the Free Play Weekend, their in-game progress will carry over to the full version....

For Rainbow Six Siege, Ubisoft has had an ever-evolving model to how they manage regular issues within their player base. This week Ubisoft released a new chat filter, announced on the Rainbow6 Developer Blog, forewarning players of specific terms and vocabulary which will not be allowed in game chat. The new system follows feedback from the original approach which simply handed out permanent bans to players if they used any form of inappropriate language....

The shooter opened fire along a walking trail in the capital city on Thursday and evaded police for hours before he was cornered in a home and arrested. The suspect was arrested around 9:37 p.m. but police have not released his identity and age yet. Authorities have said that the suspect is a white male juvenile and have not identified further. One of the victims of the shooting included an off-duty police officer....

Mumbai, Jan 2 (PTI) Ramakant Achrekar, the celebrated cricket coach credited for discovering Sachin Tendulkar, died Wednesday. He was 87 and, according to a family member, had been battling old age-related ailments for the past few days. “He (Archrekar Sir) is no more with us. He passed away this evening,” his kin Rashmi Dalvi told PTI over phone. Achrekar competed in just one first-class match in his playing career but discovered and shaped the biggest batsman in international cricket after Sir Donald Bradman in Tendulkar....
