As is the case with all game releases now, there’s likely going to be some sort of fluctuation with those times in the scale of a few minutes, but Ubisoft has a good track record of sticking closely to the times that it announces for its game releases. With a title as hotly anticipated as Rainbow Six Extraction, it would be surprising if the launch times listed were to be delayed in any way.
It’s also worth noting that those planning on playing Rainbow Six Extraction on Xbox Game Pass have a pre-load option available to them as well. Recently, pre-loading on the service has been a little shaky with things like Halo Infinite’s campaign lacking any sort of pre-loading options; however, Rainbow Six Extraction is already available on the service under the “Coming soon” tab on the home screen.
In addition to the announcement that Rainbow Six Extraction would be coming to Game Pass, it was also announced that Ubisoft+ would be coming to Xbox consoles as well. Many think that these moves suggest that Ubisoft is testing the waters of pairing its subscription service with Game Pass Ultimate similar to how EA Play did in 2020, but there’s still no official confirmation on that just yet.
Rainbow Six Extraction launches January 20 for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
