How to Capture Elites in Rainbow Six Extraction
There are no special equipment types needed to complete this main objective, all players need to do to capture an Elite in Rainbow Six Extraction is to:
Find an Elite Enemy. Lure the Elite to the capture point. Use the console keypad to capture the Elite.

Before seeking out an Elite target, however, it’s highly recommended to clear the level of lower-tiered enemies–especially if playing on one of the harder difficulties. This will make the path to the capture area easier to reach, as players won’t be getting attacked by others. Having a good loadout for an Operator like Hibana in Rainbow Six Extraction can make light work of weaker enemies.
Once every other enemy has been taken out, it’s most likely that players will have already located the Elite in the area. If not, using equipment that scans an area is useful for pinpointing targets. If playing with a squad, the ping feature in Rainbow Six Extraction can also be used to tell others where the Elite is. Once it’s found, shoot at it once to get its attention. It will start to chase the Operator.
Lure the Elite to the capture point marker on the HUD. This is a yellow icon that matches the symbol above the Elite. Players will know they have reached the right place if there is a yellow square on the ground with a white console at the back. As soon as the Elite is in the yellow square, activate the console to capture it. The objective will then clear, and players can either call for an extraction, or continue through the next airlock. Once the level is finished, that Operator will receive XP toward leveling up, and any injured Operators in Rainbow Six Extraction will get some health back.
If players are finding the capture mission too hard, they can enlist the help of their friends, even if they don’t have a copy of the game. The Buddy Pass system in Rainbow Six Extraction allows two other people to join in on the cooperative fun for a limited amount of time. Alternatively, players can use the Quickplay option to find a randomly selected group of people to attempt levels with. Remember that objectives change every time a new area is started, however, so a capture mission isn’t always guaranteed.
