How to Uncloak Enemies in Rainbow Six Extraction

When Lurkers are present in an area, they will sometimes cloak enemies in close proximity to them. If players need to clear both the Specialized Reveal and Grand Reveal challenges, they should uncloak three of these enemies before attempting to uncloak a Lurker. To even encounter a Lurker and its allies, make sure to play a difficulty above Moderate. Critical difficulty is recommended if players are having a particularly tough time tracking one down.

If firing at an enemy doesn’t uncloak them, use Paralysis Grenades or Ela’s Operator ability in Rainbow Six Extraction. Her mine should drop the cloak if used correctly. Do this three times to complete the Grand Reveal challenge. Next, find a Lurker. If one appears and doesn’t have its cloak ability activated, shoot it anywhere but the head. This is its weak point, and firing at it could kill the Lurker before forcing it to activate its cloak.

Use Paralysis Grenades or Ela’s ability again to uncloak it and complete the Specialized Reveal challenge. Killing a Lurker by firing at its weak point is required for the Alaska Lurker Vulnerability research, however, so make sure to target its head once uncloaked.

If she is injured, players can heal Ela in Rainbow Six Extraction by completing objectives with other Operators. Using Frag Grenades or Stun Grenades has also been working for some to uncloak Lurkers, but many others have reported that even though the items are unlocking enemies, using them doesn’t count toward completing the research for Alaska.

If players are hunting for Lurkers with a friend, they can use the Ping feature in Rainbow Six Extraction to quickly show their teammates where the enemy is located. It’s also a great way to communicate while playing in Quickplay with randomly assigned teammates.

For those that prefer to form a squad with people they know to try online multiplayer with, the Buddy Pass for Rainbow Six Extraction is a great way to play cooperatively with only one copy of the game for a limited amount of time.
