RELATED: Rainbow Six Siege Mobile: Biggest Changes From The PC And Console Versions

And Rainbow Six Siege is the go-to multiplayer tactical shooter since it allows players to play out various scenarios that require careful planning and execution. Furthermore, players can choose over 60 operators, each with a unique set of skills and gadgets. The latest Operator released is Solis, a powerful Defender with a few tricks up its sleeves.

Operator Solis Explained

Solis is a Defender Operator that specializes in detecting enemy whereabouts, all thanks to her SPEC-IO Electro-Sensor Helmet that lets her see and ping electronic devices (both equipped and deployed). Solis doesn’t have a high health pool (110), so players will need to play cautiously while still providing the team with useful information.

Solis’ loadout consists of CQC Weapons, like the P90 Submachine Gun and an SMG-11 Machine Pistol, making her the ideal pick for a close-quarter Team Deathmatch. Solis also has a Bulletproof Camera that can be mounted on any surface to provide surveillance. Unfortunately, the Bulletproof Camera can be hacked/disabled, so players will want to place it in a hidden area. Players can also equip an Impact Grenade, which can easily break through walls or floorboards.

Operator Solis Role

The main role of Solis is to provide her team with valuable intel about enemy positions. Her SPEC-IO Electro-Sensor Helmet also provides information about electronic devices that may be hidden from other players. For example, enemy Attackers may place Claymores (a staple piece of equipment for Grim players) around corners, but with Solis SPEC-IO Electro-Sensor Helmet, she’ll be able to notice and disable it before any harm is done.

So, the best way to play Solis is to continuously scan vital breach points and inform squadmates of potential dangers. The Electro-Sensor Helmet can also locate objectives, letting the team know exactly where to go during a match. But, Solis players should keep in mind that movement is limited while using the SPEC-IO Electro-Sensor Helmet. So, players should use this Gadget Ability only when needed and while protected by other teammates. Solis can be used to push enemy positions (especially while equipped with the ITA12L Shotgun) but should not forget that her main role in the team is to keep on the lookout.

Rainbow Six Siege is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
