When the team unveiled its new uniforms in March, it made clear it would wear white at home in 2017 (like it did in 2016) but did not promote its away look in the event of a game like Sunday’s in Dallas, where the Cowboys traditionally wear white jerseys at home.

In the Rams’ defense, their uniforms are a work in progress.
“The team is currently exploring a full rebrand, including new uniforms that will be unveiled in 2019 to coincide with the opening of the new LA Stadium and Entertainment District at Hollywood Park,” the team said in its statement.
As for Sunday, though — and for any game in the near future for which they’re forced to wear their new helmets with their blue jerseys — the Rams will continue to get these kinds of reactions.
