It will be important for the Rams to surround Stafford with offensive talent in order to keep their Super Bowl window open. LA has one of the best defensive units in the league, but it also wouldn’t hurt to add depth at key positions in order to ensure there isn’t a dip in performance this season.

Rams NFL Draft needs
Linebacker: Los Angeles’ defense led the NFL in points and yards allowed per game last season, but the linebacker group wasn’t stellar. Fortunately for the Rams, it shouldn’t be too difficult to find value at the position in the later rounds. Defensive back: Los Angeles may consider taking a safety after losing John Johnson to the Browns. Picking up a slot corner would make sense to replace Troy Hill, who also signed with Cleveland this offseason. Wide receiver: Cooper Kupp and Robert Woods have both been terrific for the Rams, but Stafford would probably appreciate it if the front office gave him another target.
