That’s what the Rams discovered Sunday when their “Merry Christmas” message was met with, ahem, mixed results.

The Rams tweeted a 90-second video featuring Aaron Donald, Todd Gurley, Trumaine Johnson, Pharoh Cooper, Tim Barnes, TJ McDonald and Johnny Hekker, who shared stories of their favorite Christmas gifts and then wished fans a happy holiday season.
The first two responses set the tone for the thread with fans upset at the 4-11 season.

Not all of the responses were negative. The Rams have been in a skid since a 3-1 start and have the NFL’s worst offense. They are about to complete their 13th straight non-winning season. They fired head coach Jeff Fisher with three games remaining in his fifth season. Two of their losses accounted for the only wins of the season for division-rival San Francisco.
Though their first season back in Los Angeles has been a dysfunctional disaster, many fans are happy the Rams are “home.”
