That asking price is very similar to the four-year, $39 million contract extension the Packers gave Cobb’s teammate Jordy Nelson last July and is comparable to Victor Cruz’s $7.64 million contract.
Cobb was named to his first Pro Bowl last season after recording 91 catches, 1,287 yards and 12 touchdowns.
The Packers have a number of free agents they will be looking to re-sign, including offensive tackle Bryan Bulaga, cornerbacks Tramon Williams and Davon House, defensive tackles Letroy Guion and B.J. Raji, as well as fan-favorite fullback John Kuhn.
